3rd Semester start tomorrow

Well the summer vacation cold be described as over now that the school is starting again. This summer I have not got to do all the things I had planned, so some of those things will have to be done whenever i get the time to do them.

My new headset: Koss Ur/29 Mix Jockey, my last headset lasted for 4 years (Pro-Luxe OA-580)

Dungeon-master screen 3.5 ed D&D
As promised I will show one of the things i have been working on this summer, for the D&D role-play sessions I have made my own Dungeon-Master Screen, the screen were made using hobby-cardboard A3 screens that were cut in two and then fitted together. I then used a pocked page from Ultra-pro to fit 6 pockets on the leftmost side of the screen, the other 3 sides were fitted using selected pages from the 3.5 screen found here. The other side of the screen is yet to be fitted, but I will probably use some tables that are well-used by the players of my games and probable one A4 plastic pocket for exchangeable maps and info from the game.

Some parts for an life sized Gundam were sold for 4001000 JP¥ (46 867 US$ | 292 252 NOK) at an auction.

For the exams I had to design an new website for the company FatCow Games AS, however I cant really show you anything since I have yet to install the design to their site.

Reading during the day

What do you read before you go to sleep, what do you read while working and were do you find inspiration…

Currently listening to: I and I – I Can See

I just finished reading Watchmen last night, well it was Raymond at the local comicbook-shop that got me to read it. It was worth every minute of reading and i got inspiration that i will need when writing the script for my own comic series. (Got an mail from the artist, she is working on it now and it seems like the first chapters will be ready for web-publishing soon.) Alan Moore is a huge inspiration.

When working on web-pages i have found the the little paperback-book CSS Pocket Reference has become irreplaceable and are already beginning to look like it.

CSS – Cascading Style Sheet – A style sheet format for HTML documents endorsed by the World Wide Web Consortium.

The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service is an weird following the different deliveries of the named company, they find, talk to and then delivers the corpses to wherever the corpses wants to be delivered. The characters are really well brought together with their kinks and faults giving them fascinating personalities.

Wired Magazine… i have just got my first magazine of the UK version mailed to me after i started subscribing, already even when i have only fast puzzled through it without reading any of the dept articles yet, i have found it full of interesting fun-faqs, diagrams, gadget tests and the best of all… the “one page summary/diagram of all Lost seasons” got me cracking…

Hungry, going to cook myself some grilled-sausages…

Studio Ghibli Collection – Complete (to date)

One of my favorite Anime studios – Studio Ghibli has been somewhat off incomplete in my shelfs. But finally i received the missing films and i could fill the holes and exchange some that i had not in the “collection” release with the ones in it. Now i do hope that Ponyo will be released in the same collection and not with a lot of Disney crap on it…
ghibli and some others arrived finally
The other 3 films i ordered were:

  • Origin – Spirits of the past
  • The Place Promised in Our Early Days
  • the Girl Who Leapt Through Time
  • (more…)
